Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump got into their first official Twitter fight
Now that she is the presumptive Democratic Party presidential nominee, Hillary Clinton (the Hills) has decided to respond to her opponent’s, Donald Trump (the Master Tweeter), tweets.
After President Obama (POTUS) formally endorsed Clinton, Trump tweeted that the American people do not want a third Obama term: Obama just endorsed Crooked Hillary. He wants four more years of Obama-but nobody else does!
Clinton quickly responded to Trump’s tweet with three words, “Delete your account.” Needless to say, that didn’t sit too well with the Donald.
The Master Tweeter tagged team with a Republican pal and sent out a rapid fire of tweets, cracking on the Hills and her team.
The first tweet, coming from the Master Tweeter himself, went a little something like this, “How long did it take your staff of 823 people to think that up—and where are your 33,000 emails that you deleted?”
Mm-hm, the Donald just told the Hills that her staff is so dumb that it takes all 823 of them to come up with one response to him.
So just think, if it takes 823 people to come up with one response to one man, how many people will it take to fix the economy and to fight terrorism?
Yep, that’s where Trump went with that tweet. It’s the ol’ bit about her judgement being so bad that she needs an entire team to think for her.
But as bad as that was, it wasn’t as bad as what the Republican National Committee Chief Strategist and Communications Director Sean Spicer tweeted.
Spicer tweeted, “Whichever intern just sent this doesn’t get its not smart for you to talk about deleting anything cc@FBI.” Before you start cracking on ol’ Spicer there about miss-spelling it’s, he does say on his tweeter page that he’s a “Horrable speller.”
So, it’s his way of joking about himself. Now, let’s get back on point. Not only was Spicer’s tweet blunt, but he told the woman that he was going to snitch on her to the FBI. After all, anyone with good common sense and who’s under criminal investigation would know that it’s not a good idea to use certain words that will bring more attention to himself, or in this case, herself.
Clinton has come under fire for “deleting” files associated with the investigation into her use of a private email related to work she was doing as the secretary of state.
Of course, Clinton denies all claims that she did anything wrong. But the the IG report hinted at something different.
And the Donald, being the Master Tweeter he is, alluded to this point with a tweet of President Obama questioning Clinton’s honesty and integrity: "I rarely agree with President Obama-however he is 100% correct about Crooked Hillary Clinton. Great ad! Obama ’08 ‘It’s what’s wrong with politics today.’"
Yep, that last part was a direct quote from President Obama speaking about the untruths Clinton was telling about him.
And inquiring minds will surely want to know why they should trust that President Obama trust the Hills now when he didn’t trust her then. Unfortunately for the Hills and POTUS, it is just something they can’t explain.
The Master Tweeter wins Round I.
